Christian Bassogog (Aalborg)
Born Christian Mougang Bassogog popularly called Bassogog started his football career professionally on April 29, 2015 when he joined the United Soccer League club Wilmington Hammerheads. Before moved to Danish club, Bassogog played 16 games and made two assists for the American ,were he signed a four-year contract with his new club.
On September 29, 2015, Bassogog played his first game for his new club AaB in the Danish Cup against the Aarhus-located team Lystrup IF. He came on the pitch in the second half with a 30mins left on the play time.
On February 11 2016, Bassogog was selected to play as a striker in a friendly match against FC Sioni Bolnisi from Georgia. He netted two goals in the match, and head coach Lars Søndergaard talked afterwards about, that Bassogog in the future could be used as striker instead of the wing.
On February 29 2016, he got played his first gmae in the Danish Superliga against FC Midtjylland.
