Caster Semenya Biography – Age

Mokgadi Caster Semenya is a middle-distance runner and 2016 Olympic gold medalist born on 7 January 1991 in Ga-Masehlong, a village in South Africa near Polokwane. In 2009 African Junior Championships, she won both the 800 m and 1500 m races with the times of 1:56.72 and 4:08.01 respectively. This wonderful victory led to her being subjected to gender testing and was withdrawn from international competitions until 2010 when she was cleared.

Semenya weighs 70 kg (150 lb) and has a height of 1.78 m (5 ft 10 in).  She got married in 2015 to her wife Violet Raseboya.
