Dama Do Bling also referred to as lusophone Queen Latifah and Mozambican Lil Kim is a musician from Mozambique. She was born in October 1979 as Ivannea Mudanisse, the superstar kicked off her career in 2005 by featuring on two tracks of the second album of Mozambique’s Queen of Reggae, Lizha James. Then in 2006, she launched her first self-titled album, produced by Bang Entretenimento but rose to stardom with the release of her first big hit “Dança do Remexe.”

That track won her two of South Africa’s Channel O Music Video Awards in the category “Best Female Video” and “Best African Southern” in 2007. During the early stages of her career, Dama was highly criticized due to her dressing while performing on stage.
