Demetria Obilor is a traffic anchor, an entertainer and a journalist born March 29, 1991 in Kansas City, Mo and popularly known for her work on ABC’s Channel 8 in Dallas, Texas. She is of Nigerian descent as her father is Nigerian while her mother is white. She has three brothers.

Demetria is a graduate of University of Kansas with a degree in Broadcast journalism and while in the university, she worked at the NBC affiliate in Kansas City, Mo. as a production tech. After graduation, she was promoted to morning traffic reporter.

Her family moved to Las Vegas in 2005. There she worked as a traffic reporter for KLAS-TV in Las Vegas, Nevada. She currently works on ABC’s Channel 8 in Dallas, Texas.
