Mlindo the vocalist is an upcoming South African singer and songwriter. He was born Lindokuhle Magedezi on October 5, 1995, in Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal. He became popular following his debut single, “Amablesser”, taken from his debut album, Emakhaya.
At the age of four, Mlindo joined a local church and there he discovered his vocal skills. From there, he started nurturing his dream to start a musical career. In 2010, he went to Eastern Cape where he joined a hip hop group Flow Riders where he mainly took part in vocals.
In 2014, he exited Flow Riders and established an acapella group called White Bread. The group gained notable recognition and won several accolades, including Search for the Stars, held in UShaka Marine World, Durban.

In 2017, he won a talent competition Golden Search in Richards Bay, which gave him an opportunity to work with record label Afrotainment, owned by producer DJ Tira. Afterward, he was discovered by DJ Maphorisa who signed him to his label BlaqBoy Music then later signed with Universal Music Africa.
Mlindo has become a star and a social media influencer with more than 400,000 followers on Instagram. He has featured several top South African artists and his songs “Bamthathile” and “AmaBlesser” are played in various South African radio stations, reaching atop on local charts.
His debut album Emakhaya album was certified platinum by RiSA and has attained more than 40 million streams countrywide. The album earned him three nominees at the 25th edition of the South African Music Awards.
