Emmanuel Agida is a vibrant young Nigerian Entrepreneur, Youth Leader, Outstanding Public Speaker, writer & Philanthropist.

FAMILY and EARLY LIFE:

He is an indigene of Oju LGA, Benue State, and was born into the family of Mr. & Mrs. Pius Ocho Agida, who are also natives of the Igede Tribe. His father before his demise was a civil servant in the Benue State Ministry of Works and a two-term Councilorship aspirant in the then-defunct, United Nigeria Congress Party in the March 15 1997 Local Government Elections.

CAREER

Emmanuel Agida began his political career as the Special Assistant on Media to the Commissioner for Women, Children, and Social Affairs in Osun State in May 2021, becoming Nigeria’s youngest political appointee at the age of 17.
Before his political appointment, Emmanuel Agida served as the media manager to the Director of Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability, at Coca-Cola Nigeria.
On April 18th, 2022, Emmanuel Agida was appointed an Ecowas Youth Ambassador by the Ecowas Youth Council, becoming the youngest ambassador to be appointed in History at age 18.

EDUCATION 

Emmanuel Agida had his primary and secondary Education in Lagos State at Flombest Private Primary School and Elias International Secondary School respectively.
In 2021, Emmanuel Agida got admitted to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the prestigious University of Benin. Emmanuel has a certificate in Global Politics from the International Business Management Institute, Berlin Germany, and an International Health Care Certification from Intelycare Nursing Institute, United States of America.
Emmanuel was an outstanding student and was therefore placed on a scholarship throughout his Primary and Secondary School Education. He also was the Senior Prefect at both Primary and Secondary School Levels, graduating to be among the top 10 secondary school students with the best result and emerging as the best student in his Department.

PHILANTHROPY:

On the 12th of August 2019, Emmanuel Agida founded the Emmanuel Agida Foundation, a not-for-profit philanthropic organization aimed at promoting socio-economic development through its carefully selected programs focused on the Sustainable Development Goals on Zero Hunger, No Poverty, Quality Education, Sustainable Communities, Clean Water, and others.
Amongst Emmanuel Agida Foundation’s notable projects are the relief programs for Internally Displaced Persons in Nigeria, the Food Support Scheme for Widows and Vulnerable Children, Education Support Initiatives, and Academic Scholarships for out-of-school children amongst a host of others.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION 

Emmanuel Agida is a recipient of numerous awards in recognition of his many strides and achievements in the area of Youth Development and Philanthropy.
In August 2019, Emmanuel was awarded a Certificate of Excellence by Barrack Obama’s founded Young African Leaders Initiative in recognition of his Philanthropy and exceptional Leadership spirit.
He is also a recipient of the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity.

Other Remarkable Achievements:
•At the age of 15, Emmanuel Agida had already published his first two books titled “Success Compendium” and “Pathway to Heavenly Places”
•On the 2nd October 2022, Emmanuel Agida was invited by the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pa. William Folorunsho Kumuyi to the Global Stages of the Deeper Life Youth Global Convocation, Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan where he spoke to and addressed over 30,000 young participants on self-discovery and development.
•Started the National Youth Leadership Development Symposium to invest in the next generation of emerging young Nigerian entrepreneurs and leaders and had already partnered with the University of Lagos, Lagos State University, and other notable organizations to train about 10,000 young people by 2030 in the areas of business and innovation, human capital and capacity development, technology and digitalization, leadership development amongst others.
