Her nickname is Yolz and she hails from Cape Town in South Africa. She grew up in Mpumalanga and lived there till she was 12 years of age. Yolenda Jawe then moved to Cape Town. From her early years, she has always loved to be on TV and in front of an audience, and this led her to start presenting in the university.
This whole plan of auditioning she attended and the presentation she did in University didn’t turn out the way she expected, then she decided to take a big step forward. In 2012, Yolz decided to launch her YouTube channel. She started to make video content on hair, then later finance.

Yolenda Jawe is married to Lwazi Jawe. As of the time of this publication, they have a son together.
